Ex-Kony Soldier Warlord May Have CURSED Jason Russell !!

Ex-Kony Soldier Warlord May Have CURSED Jason Russell
0323_kony_jason_russell_curse_ex

African warlord Joseph Kony is master of voodoo ... who may have willed an evil spirit to poison the mind of Invisible Children founder Jason Russell ... this according to a former member of Kony's child army.

TMZ spoke with Richard Akena ... who was captured by Kony's forces 4 separate times when he was a child and was forced to carry out Kony's evil bidding.

Akena tells us ... most people who were captured by Kony believe he is "being controlled by a devil spirit."

Akena says it wasn't unusual to see Kony try to use voodoo magic in an effort to thwart his enemies in Africa ... and he believes the same voodoo magic could explain Russell's naked meltdown .

Russell's family says the breakdown can be chalked up to "reactive psychosis" ... caused by stress and lack of sleep.

Still, Akena tells us he's convinced otherwise ... "This was Kony's doing."

"Idol" Finalist Has Five Active Arrest Warrants

MARCH 14--The “American Idol” contestant expected to be booted from the show tonight is the subject of five outstanding arrest warrants in New Jersey, The Smoking Gun has learned.
Jermaine Jones, 25, is wanted in three separate counties for failing to appear in court on a variety of criminal charges dating back to 2006, according to court records. His two most recent arrests came last year in Camden County, where he works as a vocal instructor.

The oldest warrant stems from a 2006 narcotics bust in Salem County. Jones’s next collar came in 2008 in Woodbury, where he was cited on an open container charge. In 2009 he was nabbed for providing cops with a false name in Winslow Township.

Jones's first arrest in 2011 came in March, when he provided a cop with the false name "Joel Jones" to "avoid being apprehended on outstanding warrants for his arrest," according to a criminal complaint. He was nabbed in late-November for again giving false information to a police officer. This time, he claimed to be "Kareem D. Watkins" in "an attempt to avoid arrest for numerous outstanding warrants for his arrest," according to a Municipal Court criminal complaint.
In a written statement, Lt. Christopher Jones of the Gloucester Township Police Department provided details about Jones’s two arrests last year.

The March 2011 hindering apprehension bust came after police responded to a Howard Johnson Inn “for a report of a disturbance.” When officers spoke with Jones, he provided them with a phony name. The November 27 arrest came after a car in which Jones was a passenger was pulled over in a traffic stop. “During the course of the motor vehicle stop and subsequent investigation, the passenger, later identified as Jermaine Jones, provided a false name to the officers.” He was again busted for hindering apprehension.

Jones was due to appear on both cases in mid-December, but he did not show up in Municipal Court. As a result, failure to appear warrants were issued for both offenses.
In a Twitter post last night, Jones reported, “Awww I will no longer b on the show.” While he did not expound further on his departure from the Fox TV hit, he apparently has been bounced for failing to disclose his arrest history to the show’s producers.

Jones was one of the final dozen competitors on the program.
So how did "Idol"'s crackerjack background investigators fail to sniff out Jones’s rap sheet? For that answer, we'd point to Fox's history of failing to adequately vet  reality show contestants like Corey Clark, Frenchie Davis, Bo Bice, Scott Savol, Lashundra Cobbins, the Brittenum brothers, Jaered Andrews, Sarah Kozer, and--the father of them all--Rick Rockwell.

Remebering Christopher Wallace aka SMALL BIGGIE!!

He remembers the bullets whizzing through the air. He still can hear the horrific scream of the rounds piercing the Suburban that carried him and his friends D-Roc, Lil Cease, and G-Money. The smell of panic, burning rubber, death, and fear make for a pungent scent one never forgets.
Today is March 9th. The day he was supposed to die.

He thanks God every morning that he wakes up – that he was spared on that day in 1997. Today, he looks up, almost tearfully. Then, he rolls over and gazes into a colossal mirror, as he does every morning these days. Soon, he glances over his shoulder and sees Faith, his doting wife. Somehow, through all the rotten beef, fights, and other women – especially Charli Baltimore – she stayed with him.
Gingerly, he wipes the cold from his eyes, as he once rapped about in “Warning”. Only difference is, he still sees clearly now.

Checking his mobile, he sees hundreds of e-mails and text messages. Some are people reminding him incessantly that today is the anniversary of the attempt on his life. Others, the ones he reads, are from Cease, D-Roc, and even Sean “P. Diddy” Combs, the head of Bad Boy Records. Ever since Biggie decided to leave the label that got him his start, his relationship with Diddy had been on rocky ground.

He knows he did the right thing to step away from the music game as a performer and segue into being a true entrepreneur. But, his relationship with his former boss has transitioned into a better place, as he has seriously considered a comeback album. He’s thinking about calling it “Ready To Live”. He likes the way it represents a cycle, but also growth.

Well, when nary one of those bullets hit him after the VIBE Magazine party in Los Angeles; he knew for certain he was never truly ready to die, classic first album be damned. Actually his life – past, present, and future flashed before his eyes in an instant. It was a miracle that the gunman fired that rare German 9mm blue-steel pistol four times, missing Biggie with each one. In fact, the assassin is still out there, something he ponders about but really doesn’t allow to dominate his thoughts. He’s stronger than ever, but more importantly, at peace.

So he continues March 9th like most other days, right after he and Faith get “CJ” off to private school. Later in the morning, he ensures that Lil Cease and Lil Kim are getting their just rotation on MTV, BET, and urban radio. The Internet already has them daily on the blogs and popular urban sites like AllHipHop.com. They haven’t been embraced the way he was, but they have seen prolonged success under his guidance. However, Biggie’s most excited about partnering with his Brooklyn cohort Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter in a joint venture of unprecedented impact. He knew the time was right after Jay parted ways with then-partners Dame Dash and Kareem “Biggs” Burk. He places a call.

“What’s up Jay?” says in his nasally voice. “How’s the album coming along? Yeah? I know it’s going to kill the game. You got the crown now, but I’m thinking about doing it again. Yeah, Puff and I are talking. If the paperwork is right, watch out.” He disconnects.

“I’m still the illest,” he whispers gently inside in his head. “Take your Throne back.”
He’s got the sprawling Jersey mansion with all of the opulence a man could ever want and the legacy to match. But, Biggie’s proud of himself for more philanthropic reasons since March 9, 1997, the day he was to die. He restarted Hip-Hop shows in Brooklyn’s Prospect Park. He brought back the Queens/Brooklyn Day. He even established the Brooklyn Music Academy, where he develops and often signs young, talented artists.

T’yanna, his lovely daughter, attends Penn State University with honors. CJ, his namesake, is a mini version of himself – only brighter. He often reflects on what could have been. Somehow, he’s living out the future that once flashed before his eyes, as bullets sought to steal him from the earth.
As the day closes, Faith is in his arms. The mansion is quiet, save the hum of the ventilation system.

Inevitably, he thinks about Tupac Shakur. His California counterpart’s death continues to weigh on him heavily. He can’t help but think he and his dear friend were pawns in somebody’s chess game. But he doesn’t empower conspiracy theories too much. He mostly reflects that yet another young, Black man of tremendous potential died far too early. Then there’s his potential. He’s still here. Surely, he’s far more successful financially today than he would have been under Bad Boy.

He sits contently, thinking how his albums, Ready To Die and Life After Death, set a barometer that most artists would kill to attain. But, deep within, he knows that he has one more thing to do.
Quietly, with Faith still in his clutches, he starts to string words together. Words become verses and concepts.

The time has come to take back the Throne.

The Cast of “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” Emerged!!

We’ve been hearing about a “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” spinoff show for a while now, and the official cast list has been leaked.
The Hotlanta cast will consist of Diamond, formally of Crime Mob, Diamond’s ex-boyfriend, Scrappy, and Scrappy’s mother, Mama D., Atlanta rapper, Rasheeda and her husband/manager, Kirk Frost, and producer, Stevie J.

Lil’ Scrappy and Diamond used to date and had a very messy break up! Diamond ran into the arms of Soulja Boy, and Scrappy’s mama, Mama D did not like that one bit. She went to the local radio station and put Diamond on blast! Here’s a little of what she said:
“Okay, the b*tch done got breast implants and booty shots, the b*tch ain’t real first of all. Secondly, Soulja boy is gonna come behind him anyway. So at the end of the day Scrappy is chilling, he’s fine, he’s the Prince of the South and he got it good. He’s living good and he ain’t thinking about that bitch…dirty low down b*tch.”

If you thought the relationship between Chrissy Lampkin and Nancy Jones was volatile, it’s a drop in the bucket compared to Diamond and Mama D. Expect lots of cracked-out moments with her!

Stevie J used to date Eve back in the day and allegedly leaked a sex tape of the two of them a few years back. He pretty much fell off the face of the earth after that. It will be interesting to see what he is up to now.

Rasheeda is a local Atlanta singer/ rapper. I hear she’s very sassy and about her business.
Will you be watching the new “Love and Hip Hop Atlanta” spinoff show?

It maybe true dat Shyne and Diddy Have Ended Up Like Biggie and Tupac?

Last week during Paris Fashion Week, Diddy and Shyne finally ended their feud , and now Shyne is talking about their reconciliation and comparing their beef to Tupac and Biggie’s.

You can’t overstate the cultural significance of what Shyne and Diddy reconciling means. You know I’m about it when it comes to them hammers, thus unfortunately this could have ended like Tupac and B.I.G. But what if Tupac and B.I.G ended like this and reconciled?

Let’s celebrate this moment as a historical event and a victory for hip-hop and Afro and Latin American men trained to exterminate each other, It’s a new day! L’chaim!!!”

I can definitely feel where Shyne is coming from. If someone took away 10 years of my freedom, I may have wanted to go get “them hammers” as well. I’m glad Shyne was able to forgive Diddy and move on.

HIV on the rise among Dallas African American women READ!!

DALLAS - There's music, texting, studying.

On the outside, 16-year-old Brianna Lamar is just like other teenagers.

On the inside, she is not.

"I have HIV," Brianna said. "I was born with it."

"For me to be as young as I am, and speak about it," she adds, "I realize that it does shock a lot of people."

What may be even more shocking, is Brianna isn't the only teenager in Dallas County infected with the virus that causes AIDS.

"The new numbers we're seeing in the 13-to-18 age group, that number is staggering," said Dallas County Health Department Director Zach Thompson.

Thompson said Dallas County leads the state in the number of new HIV infections.

Twenty-five percent of new HIV cases in the county are in the 13-to-24 age group. About 40 percent of all new cases are African American and female.

"We were just as alarmed in the 80's when we saw the infection rate among white gay males," Thompson said. "We should have the same intensity now as it relates to African American females. And I don't see that intensity."

Brianna says she talks openly with friends about her grueling daily cocktail of HIV medication, and about safe sex. But she says no school adult has ever talked to her about the latter.

"There's no sex ed," Brianna said. "They don't tell you what part should go where, what can happen to this part if this happens - there's none of that.

"There should be," she said emphatically.

Talking about safe sex and HIV is what's most important to Brianna and her grandmother, Freddie Easley.

"Because it's deadly," Easley said. "And because it's out there. And because we need to teach little Johnnie that there's something he can do, so he won't contract this disease."

Easley has raised her granddaughter since she was born with HIV. Brianna's mother and father both died of AIDS.

And while Freddie Easley is proud of her granddaughter, neither of them want anyone else to be like her.
